Although a few unseasonably snowy flakes fell on Saturday, November 12th, the Bluegrass Stars shared a beautiful luncheon on My Old Kentucky Dinner Train. The food was surpassed only by the warm camaraderie we shared with our members.
We all had time to visit and share stories in the station before boarding the train for our trip through the wintery Kentucky countryside. Some of the sites we saw as we passed by were the Jesse James safe house, the Jim Beam Distillery, and the Jackson Hollow Trestle in the Bernheim Forest.
Also offered is a Murder Mystery Train which sounds like a great edition to our 2023 calendar of events!
And, thanks to Fred and Ann Mudge for all of the planning and hard work they put into making this exceptional event happen!
